From a story (opens in new tab) by Rachel Vorona Cote

What 1877 novel by Anna Sewell takes its name from its equine narrator?

And by the way, did you know that the Treaty of Paris ended the Spanish-American War? The 1898 one, not the Treaty of Paris that ended the Revolutionary War in 1783. Also not the one from February 1812 that aligned France and Prussia against Russia, or the one from March 1812 that aligned France and Austria against Russia. It’s definitely not the Treaty of Paris of 1515, which betrothed the future king of Spain to a French 4-year-old.

Have a great weekend!
