The Lhotse Face and the Khumbu Icefall are features of what natural formation?
And by the way, did you know that the first recorded plastic surgery was performed around 600 B.C.E.? The Indian physician Sushruta pioneered rhinoplasty—the world’s first nose job—by taking a piece of skin from the forehead and using it to reconstruct a nose. Modern surgeons still use the technique.
Sushruta’s patients, alas, were not today’s celebrity clients; most would have needed a new nose after losing their original in battle or as a bloody punishment at the time for breaking the law.
Until tomorrow.
